From the very beginning years of the establishment of I.P.O.H, the researching activities of the office began. By passing almost two decades of researching efforts by the title of: "the center for Islamic studies & researches", finally "the research center of Islamic sciences & culture" was approved by the high council of expansion.
For the time being, the researching structure of the office & the research center for Islamic science & culture by taking advantage of 93 faculty members & 550 researchers from those innovators of howzeh & by applying new scientific researching methods & by discovering capabilities & hidden researching abilities in Seminaries (Howzehs), tries to produce and expand Islamic science and education and also to provide software & context of cultural spaces as well as focusing on the research to provide Spiritual needs of the society and the regime.
This complex has 5 research centers: "Islamic philosophy & Speculative Philosophy", "Jurisprudence & Law", "Political Sciences & Thoughts", "history & Ahl-e Bait’s (a) Way of life" & Intizar-e Noor" & 6 scientific researching centers:
The Center for "Culture and Quranic Teachings","Islamic Morality & Training", "Revival of Islamic Tracts", "Islamic information & documents", "socio-cultural studies" & "scientific and research cooperation's" and 12 independent researching groups in Qom, Mashad & Isfahan and also "the Headquarter of Organizing Religious Inquiries"
Also a publishing system by the title of "The Researching Center Publications" and more than 15 general & specialty libraries (with more than 105,000 topics) And digital library (with 4000 topics of books & 3000 topics of essays) are other parts of this center.
Publishing 347 topics of costly books, 112 tracts under publication & more than 300 project planning to research & translate, 8 topics of specialty magazines "Criticism & Comments, Mirror, of Research, Howzeh, Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Social Research, Articles Ethics, Quranic Researches & Pegah-e Howzeh".
Selecting more than 100 outstanding tracts in different festivals & gaining vernacular academic topics of the year & holding tens of international congresses, national meetings, seat of theorization, scientific discussion, seat of freethinking and sessions of book criticism & producing 14 active websites & presentation of 7 scientific & research software packs are just some parts of valuable services of research system of I.P.O.H as "the greatest complex of religion researching inside Islamic republic of Iran " which has the ability of scientific- and theoretician supporting of the regime’s Organizations.

The Research Center for Philosophy & Islamic Theology:
This center was established in 1995 to explain & introduce visionary educations of Islam by the viewpoint of intellect & history, rebuilding the inheritance philosophy & speculative philosophy & answering to misgivings.
This center has published 43 tracts by having three research groups of philosophy, theology & philosophy of ethics, of which 14 have been chosen in different festivals. This complex has ten tracts ready to be published, six huge projects (analytic philosophy, the science of Osoul (tenets) philosophy of essence, capabilities of Islamic philosophy, thought book of Shiite scientists, intellect & religion and ethical theories and tens of projects planning to research and translate and has held more than 32 scientific sessions.
"Criticism & idea" as a specialty quarterly is published by this center.
The Research Center for Jurisprudence & Law
This center was established in 1995 by the purpose of refining visionary methods of jurisprudence & law & expanding jurisprudence in personal & social new spaces.
This center has published 80 tracts and 28 of them have been chosen in different festivals by using its three research groups: "philosophy of jurisprudence & law", "dependent knowledge on jurisprudence", & "legal and jurisprudential affairs".
This center is planning to publish 7 tracts & to research about more than 40 projects and has held more than 12 scientific sessions.
The Research Center for Political Sciences & Thoughts
This center was established in 1994 to research in the field of political sciences & thoughts in Islam & to answer the special needs raised from the establishment of the Islamic regime.
This center has published 65 tracts and 35 of them have been chosen in different festivals by having three research groups of "political philosophy, political jurisprudence & political sciences". This center has 15 tracts, ready to be published & is planning to research about 60 projects and has hold 93 scientific sessions & 17 sessions of book criticism.
The Research Center of History & Life Manner Ahl –Bait (a)
This center was established in 1985 to survey methodically the related fields to history & morality of Ahl-e Bait.
This center has three departments "history of Shiism", "morality of Ahl-e Bait (P.B.U.T)"&"Islamic culture and civilization" and has published 21 titles of books & has 5 other ready tracts to be published and is researching about 29 titles. More over holding 37 scientific sessions about historical affairs and Ahl-e Bait's morality are some other activities of this center.
Intizar-e Noor Research Center
This center was established in 1998 with the name of Intizar-e Noor cultural research center aiming at deepening, explaining and expanding Mahdism [Messianism] culture and performing functional and principal exploration in this regard and now owns eight researching groups.
Surveying and recognizing basic issues regarding Mahdism, holding 10 seminars, publishing 35 series of books, 11 books under way, establishing specialized Mahdism library, surveying twenty thousand religious questions in this field, surveying 170 series of Shiite and Sunni Quranic exegesis, surveying hundreds of books about narrative sources of the first 10 centuries in Islamic history, surveying 5600 narrations about Mahdism, producing Mahdavi[Mahdism] softwares and inaugurating cyber Mahdism center, training tens of experts in the field of Mahdism, and holding tens of specialized meetings with the purpose of the true discussions of Mahdism in scientific, research, cultural, educational etc... fields, is one part of this research center activities.: www.moslih.com and www.monjee.com belong to this research center.
Center for Culture and Quranic Teachings
This center is the biggest Quranology center in the country which started its active ties in 1987 by "Guiding Exegesis", "Encyclopedia of Quran", "Culture of Quran" "Terminology of Quran Education", "Topical Lexicon of the exegeses", "Encyclopedia for Quran researchers", "New Translation of the Quran" and answering to many dubieties about Quran and as one of the unique centers in all over the Shiite world.
Producing Quranic sciences and doing new projects in accordance with audience and addressee's needs is another part of this center's services.

Center for Ethics and Education Research
Among this group's activities are: explaining and stabilizing the frameworks of Islamic ethics and morality, portraying Islamic school of thought and it's ethical system as an efficient and superior system logical defense from Islamic ethical trainings, offering new ethical patterns and preparing theoretical foundations of ethics in Islamic Republic of Iran. This group was established in 2003 and has two tendencies: ethics and education.
Center for Islamic Tracts Revival
This center as one of the main research unit of I.P.O.H center was built as "tracts revival department" aiming at critical rebuilding the main texts of Shia. This center continued its activities after the establishment of "Islamic Sciences and Culture Research Center". Center for Islamic tracts revival reaching to its valuable 25th year activities in the field of shits written heritage recognition, by benefiting from well-known researchers, critical correction of the resources and using latest findings in this scope, has published 50 written tracts in 128 volumes and accordingly, has proved itself. It should be mentioned that, 14 tracts of this center have been rewarded in scientific festivals in Iran, such as, Islamic republic of Iran's year book.
Center for Islamic Information and Documents
This center was established in the early 1980s with purpose of recognizing, organizing and offering religious data by benefiting from modern communication along with gathering scientific resources and developing related activities. This center has served notable activities during a quarter of century, like: terminology dictionaries, Islamic culture encyclopedia in different fields such as Quranic studies, Islamic philosophy, principles of jurisprudence, Islamic theology, Islamic ethics, logics, jurisprudence, documents, indexation and topical glossaries in translations, reediting of Islamic tracts as well as offering Electronic publications like: digital library, scientific sites and various software.
Establishing specialized Islamic studies data bases in addition to holding national meeting for Islamic terminology dictionary is another service. It must be noted that this dictionary was elected as the Islamic republic of Iran's year book and was praised by UNESCO.
Socio-Cultural Studies Center
This center was established in 2007 with the purpose of "different socio-cultural issues’ recognition and futurology". "Submitting functional suggestions and analyses to decision making centers" "Theorizing and ideology producing", "explaining the thoughts of Islamic thinkers", "recognition of the clericalism's socio cultural position" and "problem solving of society's socio-cultural problems". This center consists of 4 groups: "socio-cultural basic studies and religious studies", "social survey and attitude evaluation", "strategic studies and socio-cultural policies", and "clericalism studies", and it has 30 research projects under way.
Participation in producing and editing cultural part of the fifth developing program of the country and ethical charter of the country election is only one part of this center's valuable services.
The center for scientific and research cooperation's
Managing, organizing and directing all scientific and research cooperation's of the vice-presidency of research at the Islamic Propagation office are the specialized duty of the "center for scientific and research cooperation". These functions are done through three dependent offices. One of the important steps taken by this center is to inaugurate and lunch padpa specialized News agency in the field of religions studies (www. Padpa.com)
The office for software Movement
Following the supreme leader's (long live with him) commands, in connection with software movement, holding scientific meetings to expand and deepen Islamic studies, paving the ground for producing and developing Islamic sciences and relaed studies, building up culture and creating ideological interaction among the instructress. Elites, and scientific and religious centers, supporting neothinkers, innovators and theorizers in the field of religions thinking and finally changing oral traditional scientific approach in the seminary schools to the modern written and permanent ones, are all and all of the goals and the major duties of the "office for software Movement."
Holding specialized conferences and scientific workshop and establishing innovation's recoding unit to record and index the idea, new theories and researches are all other part's of this offices activities.

The office for organizing religious studies
The major activity of the office I struggling to organize the religious studies. From among the main functions of the office, we can name the following ones: to identify the innovations and newly proposed scientific activates in the field of religions researches, to identify the innovate of religions studies, to search for innovative theories in religious works such as the selected outstanding these and dissertations.
The office for scientific and international Cooperation's
The main responsibility of the office is to apply scientific and research approach to the international relation. Communicating with the foreign thinkers and inviting them to attend the research center for science and culture, building up bridges of science between this center and the research centers of other counties, and also sending the researchers of the center to other countries are some parts of this office's functions.
Public and Specialized Library of Research Deputy Office
These libraries which are made for scientific and research informing of the researchers and the public, consists of two parts: The public one and the specialized one. In public library, there are books for students, the clergies. authors, handwritten library and the press archive; and in specialized one, it consists of specialized book like, philosophy, speculative philosophy, history and Sirah [the Prophet's tradition], political thoughts, law and jurisprudence sociology in addition to culture and Quranic studies center's book and Intizar-e Noor center; noteworthy to say, this library is digital and all the sources are listed and classified and now with 250000 book volumes, is in service.

Organizing Staff for Responding Centers
This department was established in 2002 following the supreme leader' desires in a movement for responding questions based on article H of section 159 of the third program for developing the country and supreme assembly of cultural revolution's enactment no. 500 for policy making in responding the religious questions and settling, arranging and supporting responding centers:
