Dr. Najaf Lakzai, the president of Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy issued a message, on the passing of Dr. Ebrahim Alipour, director of the Research Center for Islamic Philosophy and Theology. The text of his message is given below:
In the Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful.
“To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return” 
While mourning the Arbaeen of Imam Hossein (as) and her companions, we heard that our dear friend and Colleague, Dr. Ebrahim Alipour, went to visit his lord, Imam Hossein (as) in heaven in the last hours of Arbaeen Day and made us all mourn again.
The demise of this brilliant scholar and successful and humble director made me feel a deep sorrow. I still remember his loving voice in my mind while I was infected with the infamous Coronavirus, and he called me to greet me, who, while talking, pointed out that he and some of his family members were not well. On Arbaeen Day, when I talked to his dear son about the latest news on the condition of Dr. Alipour's disease, he said that although his blood oxygen condition had improved, my father was not well at all. Unfortunately, on the evening of Arbaeen, I was informed that the soul of that respected man flew to the heaven and made us all grieve and mourn. By surrendering to the providence and destiny of God, I offer my condolences to his honorable wife, children and relatives, friends and acquaintances, students and lovers of the deceased, as well as to the dear colleagues in Islamic Propagation Office of Qom Seminary, Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy and Research Institute of Al-Zahra Unviersity.
Dr. Alipour was a creative, disciplined, forward-thinking, problem-oriented, and successful manager in organizing to achieve goals and programs and working hard to consolidate and synergize human resources. His effective presence in the scientific, educational and research centers of the seminary and the university showed some of the blessings of the dear deceased. The Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy lost its scientific and powerful director.

I ask Allah, the Almighty, to grant the respected grieving family especially his honorable wife and children supreme patience and reward, and bestow his divine mercy and forgiveness on the deceased. I hope with the help of Allah, that the deceased will be the guest of Imam Hossein (as).
