His personal and social life 
Mohammad Hadi Yaqubnejad was born in a clerical family in 1956 and completed his primary school education in Birjand. In 1972, He studied the basic subjects in Birjand Islamic Seminary under the supervision of Ayatollah Arefi, one of the prominent scholars. He moved to Islamic Seminary of Mashhad in 1974 and benefited from the some scholars such as Adib Neyshaburi, Hojjat Khorasani, Waezi, Salehi Neyshaburi and so on. He then moved to Qom in 1975 and became the student of Ayatollah Sayyid Mahdi Ebadi, Ayatollah Karbasi, Ayatollah Fazel Lankarani, Ayatollah Sotudeh, Ayatollah Javadi  Amoli (Quran Interpretation), Ayatollah Hassanzadeh (astronomy). He also attended Kharij courses of Ayatollahs Vahid Khorasani, Tabrizi and Makarem Shirazi.

He started promoting Islam in 1976 and in the era of Islamic Revolution he was captured in Sonqor County(Kermanshah Province). After the Islamic Revolution of Iran, in addition to villages and cities he was active in the universities such as Shahrood, Babol, Hamedan, Sari, Kashan, Birjand and Tehran in the speech ceremonies and dormitories.
He has authored more than 15 books as well as 8 papers in scientific-research journals and has received many scientific-cultural awards. He has been a university professor since 2001 and taught in many universities including Tehran Universiy.
He was sent to the front line in the Iran-Iraq war for several times and was appointed as the supervisor of Birjand Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs from 1984 to 1986 and then undertook some others responsibilities including the temporary Imam of Friday prayer as well Teaching at Birjand University as a professor. He then became the clergymen representative of Birjand and Nehbandan in Clergymen Representatives Assembly(2005-2009) and in 1992 he was appointed as the director of Thesaurus of Islamic Sciences. With the establishment of The Center for Islamic Documents and Information since 2005, he was the head of that center for ten years. He is currently the research deputy of Islamic Sciences and Culture Academy.
