Center for Quranic Studies and Culture (CQSC)

 Center for Quranic Studies and Culture(CQSC) of Propagation Office of Qom Seminary was established in 1987 with the aim of promoting Qurani Culture and Studies and defending its true doctrines. Having adopted a completely new approach in studying Quranic exegesis, translation and other issues it has given a new orientation to Quranic activities in Qom Seminary. It is supposed to do things such as providing Quranic materials and documents, classifying Quranic studies, writing various Quranic glossaries and encyclopedias, accomplishing different commentaries on Quran, addressing questions and skepticisms and identifying needs in the field of Quranic culture. It is by now known as the greatest center of Quranic studies in the country. It has thus far published 68 works of which 12 are select works.

9.  Sayyid Muhammad Reza Safavi, A Translation of the Holy Quran on the Basis of al-Mizan Commentary, together with Commentary Points Taken from al-Mizan Commentary. It was chosen as a select work by International Quran Fair in 2009 and was considered as praiseworthy by Seminary Year Book Festival and Year Book of Islamic Republic of Iran in 2007 and 2011 respectively.

10.  Sayyid Muhammad Reza Safavi, Educative Interpretation of the Holy Quran (thus far 8 volumes published), 2011. It was chosen as a better research by International Quran Fair in 2011.

11.  Ayatollah Tahiri Khurram Abadi, Quranic Interpretation of Jumu'a, Kafiroon, Nasr, Kawthar and Masad Chapters, 2012.

12.  Sayyid Muhammad Ali Ayazi, Interpretation of the Holy Quran on the Basis of Sheikh Mufid's Heritage, 2003.

13.  Ayatollah Hashimi Rafsanjani and other Researchers, Guide Interpretation (21 volumes), 1992. It was chosen as Year Book by Year Book of Islamic Republic of Iran and was chosen as select work by the Second Conference of Seminary Selected Books and the Conference of Guardians of Revelation in 1999. It was picked up as a select work by the First Reason and Religion Festival.

14.  Ali Muhammadi Ashnani, Quranic Ideal Society, 2013.

15.  Sa'aeed Bahmani, Glossary of Iranian Scholars of Quran, 2007.

16.  Encyclopedia of the Holy Quran (so far 12 volumes are published), authored by a board of scholars, 2006. It was chosen as a select work by the Secretrate of Scholars of Religion and International Quran Fair in 2001 and 2004 respectively and was also chosen as select work by Year Book of Islamic Republic or Iran (2005), Quran and Itrat Fair (2005), the First Reason and Religion Festival, the Fifteenth International Quran Fair (2007), the Conference of Guardians of Revelation (2005). It was picked up a better work by International Quran Fair in 2012.

17.  Muhammad Sadiq Yusufi Muqaddam, An Introduction to Ijtihad from the Perspective of the Holy Quran, 2008. It was considered as praiseworthy by Season Book of Islamic Republic of Iran in 2009 and was picked up as a select work by the Seventeenth International Quran Fair in 2009.
